Scenario

From the user research and persona, the following scenario was developed as a step toward designing the interface.

Johannes has 25 minutes before he need to go to his meeting. He believes this is enough time for him to get his morning coffee. Not happy with the quality of the hotel coffee, and its inflated price, he leaves the hotel in search for a coffee shop.

He flips open his phone and navigates to his GoCoffee service. He sees that there is a five-star rated coffee shop 0.2 miles from his hotel. He selects the shop to see its location on a map to orient himself.

After a quick look at the map, he chooses directions and sees he only need to make two turns. He closes his phone and walks the way the directions said to go.

While walking toward the coffee shop, he becomes distracted for forgets which street he needs to turn down next. The directions are the first thing he sees when he navigates to the GoCoffee services, because he did not exit previously.

He successfully finds the shop and buys a cup of coffee to go.

Later, he opens the GoCoffee service and navigates to the coffee shop he visited earlier. The coffee was really good, and so was the service and atmosphere. He selects a five-star rating, which is now part of his personal ratings.
